Excellent for the National Parks
Excellent location for visiting Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The hotel is on the edge of town so a bit if a walk to restaurants but perfectly manageable. Plenty of free parking in town so driving to eat is an option. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was fine as was breakfast. My only quibble - and I suppose it was just because Moab is a tourist hot spot at this time of year - was the relatively high price for what is a mid-range hotel.

Great for Moab
We stayed here as part of a two week road trip for two nights and we know from past experience that hotels in Moab tend to be overpriced and basic, but this was a good choice. The hotel's staff are excellent and the laundry and pool facilities were great. The room was large, clean and well furnished and the bathroom was spacious too. Looking back, there were only a few things that could be better. Firstly, despite the bathroom being large and far better than most US hotels, the shower head wasn't great and it would have been good to have a handheld shower too. Secondly, the breakfast is basic but decent enough, though I found it extremely odd that they use plastic disposable cutlery and polystyrene disposable crockery (silverware / tableware). I wish they'd use reusable items like this to cut down on waste! The walk into Moab only take 5-10 minutes so location-wise it is great. I would definitely stay here again.

All good apart from the bed!
Great location for visiting Canyonlands and Arches. Hotel is well maintained with good service from staff. Large room with clean bathroom. Excellent shower and lots of towels provided. Great coin operated laundry room, open late. However, I found the bed so uncomfortable that I kept waking up in the night. The pillow just seems to envelop your head- no support! I'm in another Hampton Inn at the moment in Springdale and am experiencing the same problem. I stay in a lot of hotels and have never struggled with this before. Having said that, different people prefer different bed types- so not everyone would be uncomfortable.

Poor breakfast
Having stayed in a number of different hotel chains on our Grand Canyon and National Parks tour, they are largely differentiated by the quality of their complimentary breakfast. This hotel comes out bottom. On both mornings we had breakfast they ran out of food. On the first day they ran out of waffle mix and it took 20 minutes for it to be replenished. On the second morning all hot food was gone by 9am. Fresh was delivered by 9:30 but by then most diners had left. Fruit was also gone by 9:00; some bananas were delivered by 9:40. Not good enough!

Great Location
Just minutes from Arches National Park. Easy walk down into centre of Moab. Hotel rather bland but rooms clean and spacious and staff helpful. There is a guest laundry if you need one.
