We have stayed here twice for work purposes and the staff are fantastic. The room are very spacious,shower very powerful.

NOT renovated
Definitely NOT updated. The foyer/lobby area has been refreshed with new decor/carpet (probably in the last 2-5 years), however the rooms are straight from the 1980s, with the room/ensuite in dire need of renovation. Plus, when you book a double room, the last thing you need is a spare bed you didn't ask for cramping up the little space you have. The staff were very friendly and helpful at least!

Good, but noisy
Bath to take a shower is a bit small, mainly if you are a big man. Also, not uncommon, had parties on terrace and the music and people screaming could be heard until 1am, not really good when you have to wake up in the morning to work.
