Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach

Could not fault the hotel from very early free check-in to luggage concierge to front desk/reception. Anything that needed doing they would help. Even gave me a later checkout complimentary as was with daughter. The parking attendants (if you bring a car) - very attentive and always smile and greet you. Room cleaning - seemed like it was done twice a day - never needed to ask for anything. Because hotels all close together don’t get ‘perfect’ sea views in lot of the rooms however high up you are but we had a good enough view from the balcony in between the buildings. Would happily stay again. Btw - they don’t have their own private beach area - beach is just across the road (I’d say 3 minutes or so to touch the sand/water area) so this may be a small factor for those going for a full beach holiday but in Dubai there’s 1001 other things to do that we only had time for the beach for 3 hours out of an 8 day holiday. Free valet type parking comes handy - I had a supervar for part of the stay!

Great week at this hotel. Probably our fourth stay. Perfectly situated on the walk and close to lots of things.

Worst hotel stay ever. My son was ill and the restaurant would not let me take him up breakfast that I already paid for. I was assaulted by the food and beverage assistant manager for trying to bring my son breakfast. The staff are rude and only treat you nice if your Arab it’s a racist hotel. Plus they charged my card on file for no reason. The pool area is nice and clean that’s the only bonus
