Funny in Costa Rica
Very nice resort. The room was smaller than some at other all inclusives, but it was clean and had a balcony that overlooked the activities below. The resort had great upbeat fun entertainment on Friday and Saturday night, not sure about the other nights as we left. I loved that the high energy entertainment started early and all was quiet by 11 pm for people who wanted to sleep. They have a24 hour barso drinks are available late if you want to stay up. The restaurant food was well prepared, not over cooked. Their buffet was extensive and also well prepared. The property has a giant beautiful pool with lots of loungers and a Small private beach on site. My only negatives were 1. There was a long wait at the restaurant for dinner, they don't have reservations. 2. The drinks weren't very good. Margaritas😪 , only one kind of red wine, cheap brands of alcohol. However once we Tried a bunch of different drinks we finally found some that weren't bad. They did make some good martinis. Also there was bottles of alcohol in the room with mixes that you could serve yourself With soda and beer in the fridge

The ground and facilities were good. Food was average to below average. Restaurants are first come first serve. Get in line and still likely not able to get in at all. Italian restaurant booked completely with 130 waitlisted by 6:05 (they start taking in at 6:00pm) - EVERY night. Really low end alcohol everywhere except one bar and even what they had there was average at best. Staff overall was very nice - Andrea, Jeoffrey, etc. Beach sand was weird. Sandy feel, but also dirt like. Location to travel anywhere was very poor. Trying to head south (i.e. Tamarindo) was terrible. 17 miles took 3 hours 45 minutes. Only road out in that direction was almost completely washed out (supposedly dry season!). Water was up past the tires.

Great vacation but loud music
Staff is very friendly and there are a lot of choices to select from for dining. One should be aware that there is live music starting at 8:15 which does not end until 11:00 or sometimes later. The music is incredibly loud and affects anyone staying on the east side of the resort. Also, the noise from drunk guests opening and closing doors after the music may bother early to bed guests.

Hotel was a bit dated and my room was musty smelling. It was cheap but you get what you pay for. Staff was nice but I had to ask for soap and conditioner since it wasn’t provided in my room. Food was decent. The buffet and Asia food restaurant was the best.

Nice Resort
Resort is very nice.. I just DO NOT understand if you are in the service industry how they dont speak enough English to communicate- hardly any of staff can understand you - the beaches are def different than Caribbean white sand. Resort is very clean, beautiful actually! I would stay again if we went back!

Amazing location, hotel, and people!!! We went with our children and they loved the pools and water park..Aside from one lifeguard taking his job way too seriously when our kiddos accidentally went in the 18 and over side everything was great!! Our son’s birthday was over our stay and they decorated our room and he had his own private cake courtesy of the hotel… Everyone showed mad love…. Make sure you leave a day for an excursion…it’s worth it
