A nice hotel with a decent spa
The hotel was good, a comfortable room with air con and the spa was great with a proper pool.
Service at the hotel was OK. One receptionist asked what day it was when booking breakfast and two other staff struggled to resolve a relatively minor issue.
Parking is limited - if you can’t get into the parking outside there aren’t too many other local options. The additional charges for breakfast and spa use are clearly noted but still add up even on a short break.
Breakfast was good both days (we tried different options) and the restaurant was good and reasonably priced.
The location is excellent, lots of green space locally and a short walk to the river. Plenty of food and drink options in the centre of Richmond. A longer walk to Kew Gardens or local rail and tube services - or hire a scooter / bike.

Overall very good only disappointment when you have paid 650 pounds for two nights was the failure to clean room. Then when brought to the attention of the reception. They said the staff have all gone home. Poor customer response to their own problem.
