But sure this is close to a 4 star hotel, but it has on site parking - that was nice. The staff was very helpful but hotel is not stocked! We needed extra-pillows …. none. Maybe an extra blanket to use as a pillow - none. The staff brought me into the “stock room”; it was literally empty. The breakfast was pitiful. Really sad.

Our visit here was excellent. The property seems extraordinarily new or recently refurbished. The room was quite large given its close proximity to the downtown streets of Amboise. The staff were extremely pleasant and you could tell they are well trained/coached on ensuring positive guest experience. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Well located in Amboise. We stayed for 3 nights while visiting the Loire. We had a studio so didn’t take the breakfast option. Parking is paid per day. On arrival it took us a little time to locate the road - it’s quite a narrow 1 way street, though that’s not unusual in Amboise! So best to check your route before arrival. We always found a parking space when arriving but it was not peak season - I suspect it might be trickier in high season when the place is full. Plenty of Restaraunts within easy walking. The studio apartment has a basic kitchen - microwave, fridge, kettle and sink - so adequate for organising breakfast. So in summary, good location, adequate parking (though might be tricky in peak season) and the studio apartments are comfortable if somewhat basic.

Beautifully restored hotel but was very sterile maybe because it was newly opened. The halls echoed with concrete but nicely painted. Our room was on the 1st floor over the entrance which was noisy with people returning at night or children playing out front. The last day the hostess warmed when engaged. Has great potential!! Hôtel is in a great location for exploring Ambroise. Staff very obliging and rooms brand new, clean and comfortable. However as there was no air conditioning every room had their windows wide open day and night. Outside almost finished so still a few building noises and garden improvements to be made and for this reason we didn’t use the small swimming pool available.

This is a brand new hotel; yes some areas are being worked on as previous reviews advise. However, we stayed for 4 days mid August and further works I suspect had been completed. We found the hotel to be lovely. The staff were great and very helpful with things like advising on restaurants and booking cabs etc. The outdoor pool area is great, gated for safety and with the added benefit of a lift up to it. I think this is superb for those with limited mobility. The rooms are compact but well thought out and nicely decorated. It’s a 5 minute walk into the main area of Amboise. You can reach everywhere on foot. We liked it so much, we stayed another 4 days. A nice place to relax.

We enjoyed the one-bedroom apartment for our family of four and found it had plenty of space. The room was simple, clean, and tidy, and the kitchenette—with a refrigerator, sink, and microwave—was very convenient for preparing snacks and light meals. The onsite parking was easy and convenient, and we made good use of the pool every day. The water was a great temperature, and it was a relaxing place to unwind. My only suggestion would be to keep the pool open until sunset. During our stay, it closed relatively early, so we weren’t able to enjoy an evening swim after dinner, which would have been a nice way to end the day. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and appreciated the comfortable accommodations and convenient amenities.
