The lady with the gray hair who was part of the staff at check-in was absolutely awesome! I didn’t catch her name, but she was the nicest lady ever and was so accommodating. We are definitely coming back, and honestly, she is one of the reasons why! The room was nice and clean, and the location was perfect. It was such a romantic setting for my husband and me. We especially loved the fireplace and location. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The location is good, a short walk to the beach. Room was comfortable and clean but tired looking. Probably due for a refresh. We stayed at this hotel six or seven years ago, that is why we decided to try it again. As with many hotels in the area the amenities have been reduced. A fairly good breakfast was included with our initial stay; now nothing but coffee and a roll of some description. For us the hotel has lost some of its quality features.

Clean small hotel. Right next to the path down to the beach and the parking spots were huge and many spots available. Room was very large, had a room that faced HWY 1, but was quiet to outside noise. Refrigerator (microwave in lobby), walking distance to the main street, close to Hearst Castle, Fireplace in room and fan, and HVAC was easy to adjust, TV had LOTS of channels and was large, Wellness center had two steam rooms and a hot tub with robes, very clean and nice. Walls are thin, but hotel isn't responsible for guests who blare their TV and open and slam doors all night-that's just bad hotel guests that have not spatial awareness, so can't blame hotel, but if you are a light sleeper this might not be a good choice for you. Check in was easy and was able to check in early, friendly woman.

I was initially hesitant to book this property because I noticed it had an 8.8 rating. After comparing several other options, though, I kept coming back to this one—and I’m so glad I did. The accommodations exceeded my expectations. The location is outstanding, with an easy walk to both the beach and the town center, making it the perfect home base for exploring the area. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, even making my late check-in seamless. Every morning they offer complimentary coffee and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch that I really appreciated. One of my favorite amenities was the rooftop patio, where the hot tub and steam bath are located. It’s a wonderful place to unwind after a day of hiking or relaxing at the beach. As someone who is a very picky traveler, I have no hesitation recommending this property. I would happily stay here again.
