It was just a quick trip to Marrakech but I received the full experience of what is is like to stay in a beautiful traditional home. The pictures do not do this property justice. I was constantly blown away by both the lovely traditions and the creativity. I loved my room! Perhaps the best sleep I have had on vacation in a really long time - I really loved the mattress. The layout of the room and the evening's dinner (a wonderful mystery dinner) had me sending pictures home on the first night because it was such a feast for the eyes. Little did I know that the next morning would blow me away. The breakfast on the roof each morning was nothing short of amazing! I've already told my husband that I need to take him there because it is my ideal of a romantic vacation homebase. I would have loved to have made better use of the facilities and to explore on foot. I enjoyed the service, the app recommendation (map that could be used without wifi) and the lovely discussions with Julien about plants and nutrition.

Starting with the room not being ready for a nighttime arrival to inappropriate, intrusive staff, this place needs serious hospitality management improvements. You stay there according to their ever-changing rules, never sure what time is what, and customer service is clearly a foreign concept to management and staff. The riad is gorgeous but the stay is horrendous. And the cherry on top? When they tell you at ten pm on night 2 that there’s no dinner because you should have notified them of your intention to eat no later than 3pm... which was never mentioned and didn’t apply the night before! We ended up running the Medina streets hoping to find some place open... at ten pm... two females foreign to the city. Horrendous. Avoid it at all cost!

Very friendly host and staff who will go the extra mile to make your stay very enjoyable. The riad is located within the medina walls. A great traditional experience. The staff will even come and fetch you upon arrival at a meeting point to ensure you find the place. The breakfast on the terrace is just the best way to start the day. Julien the owner and host also offers an amazing diner experience. Healthy and tasty meals for which we were invited to guess the ingredients. You will be nicely surprised. Kudos to the cook (she has been at the riad for many years working with Julien). We had dinner there twice over our 4-day stay.

The service we received from all the staff was excellent. They provided a lot of tips and advice and even guides on how to maximize of vacation time in Marrakech.
