Wonderful stay .great location next to memorial garden. Only gripe is with regards to booking which says all taxes and fees included However if you read small print this isn't the case and you will be charged by hotel a resort fee of 21 USD a night

Would stay again
Was a really nice hotel and the staff were extremely helpful when we had any questions. There is 24 hour complimentary water and soft drinks which was nice, and a daily slot of one hour free wine. The food in the hotel restaurant was also very good and worth trying, especially with the great view. Only downside was there was no safe in the room

Excellent but check on service costs
Very nice hotel , excellent views over ground zero, excellent and friendly staff. Only down side was extra service charges at end of stay not mentioned at start , $150 for 7 days !

Good hotel, but let down by "facilities fee"
I first stayed here five years ago, and not much has changed since then -- except the mandatory $20 per day "facilities fee". Don't get me wrong, the hotel is generally well-maintained and the location is great for downtown, but this new tax feels like a sneaky way to inflate the price while adding no new value. The staff are also hit and miss -- some are super-friendly and helpful, but others not so much. In particular, the staff dealing with a fire alarm that caused a building evacuation at 11pm during one night made me seriously doubt our safety if this would have been a real fire. No one acted as a fire marshal, one staff member was rude to several guests, and the communication was ineffective (and contradictory).

Great hotel with lovely additional perks
Great hotel, in an ideal location. The beds were comfy. Everything was clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I also enjoyed the complimentary wine at 5pm! And the snacks during the day. Nice extra perks!

Beds are sooo comfy!!!
From check-in to check-out, our stay at this hotel was perfect. We would stay here again and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Slightly disappointing
When we arrived, our room was absolutely tiny! (We know NY rooms are small so we usually book according to room size...however room size was not listed for this hotel, we chose this time by area). We asked to upgrade to a slightly larger room and Albert on reception actually put us in top floor suite, which we were super grateful for as staying for 9 days. Unfortunately, the room temperature was a nightmare, either freezing or too hot if you used the heater. The bed and pillows were THE most uncomfortable we have ever had in a hotel. Did not get 1 full nights sleep for the whole holiday. We wanted to order food to the room one night, which they told us to use Seamless on the tv (apparently simple)....awful process! Took forever! We ordered breakfast to our room for the day we were leaving....wished we hadn’t. It was lukewarm, sausages were undercooked, toast stale. They also forgot to book our transfer to return to airport...luckily, a guy on reception had a friend to phone for taxi last minute! Staff were nice and we were grateful for the upgrade for extra space...however, we wouldn’t stay here again.

Good value for money, clean and comfortable
Wonderful hotel, couldn’t fault it! Great value, clean, comfortable and good facilities for a business hotel. Loved the Wine@5 and snacks throughout the day, really made a difference. The front desk staff were so friendly, would stay here again without a doubt if in NYC!

Just back from the big apple
Fab location for sub way and getting around NY, also staff were very helpful in reception.only a few down sides that need to be addressed is the beds ... little 2 hard for my liking and also we always needed a few more towels. On a big plus, we loved the wine at 5pm event and the little free items linked to nibbles and soft drinks that makes the difference. Worth booking, thanks QC.

Fair 4.0
Sadly disappointing.
I read a lot of the reviews before booking this hotel and was excited to stay. Unfortunately however I was disappointed. The room we were allocated was not representative of those shown on either the hotels own website or Hotels.com who I booked through. Our room had one small window making it very dark. It also had a large column/post running through the middle making the room awkward added to which it was next to the elevator which was noisy. I asked at reception if we could change rooms but was told by a ‘disinterested’ receptionist that the hotel was fully booked. The following day I asked again (speaking to a different receptionist) who was very nice and arranged to move us. Despite booking a room for three people both rooms only had enough towels for two people. It took two telephone calls to housekeeping and SIX requests at reception before we finally received the additional towel which was very annoying. The receptionist suggested I let the manager know so I did but haven’t to date had the courtesy of a reply. During our visit to NY we also stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott which is just across the road from Clubhouse Quarters. It is a similar price but the rooms are much nicer and in better condition.
