Not for the picky traveler
Stayed here for four nights on business with one staff person. Front desk help was great; helpful and friendly. Towels were changed daily, however, the room didn't appear to be cleaned regularly. The fact that housekeeping took the time to tuck my roommates teddy bear in bed was a nice touch. However, the following evening, only one of the beds were made. --No problem. Maybe they were in a hurry and forgot.-- That was cool until my roommate broke into some weird rash on the back of her legs after sitting on the bed. The front desk staff was nice enough to provide us with TWO sets of fresh sheets since it was after hours. Unfortunately, they weren't so "fresh" as two of the sheets had very noticeable dark, brown stains on them. At this point, with only two nights left, we pushed through. (We were working 14 hour days and only needed a place to crash.) I should also mention there was a noticeable stain/spill on the bedskirt near the headboard (something one would definitely notice if changing the sheets); it remained there the entire stay. I won't go into detail about the drunk couple across the hall, as this has no bearing on the hotel, but did provide some unexpected comic relief. The area itself was okay--right off the highway and across from a police substation. You could tell that the hotel hand undergone some remodeling (contemporary updates) but could still use some air freshners throughout. Best thing about our stay was the free hot breakfast.

NOT A FRIENDLY PLACE! The hotel manager was working the front desk. He ask for my name and i gave it to him and told him we had a reservation for 6. He said that would be an extra 10 dollars & I told him no I had already paid for the room. He argued that I didnt & that Orbitz did not send the funds over to them even after showing him the receipt. So had to call Orbitz and wait for them to call the hotel. While on hold with Orbitz the manager figured out he was looking at the wrong reservation. I was treated like I was a nuisance. Our room was 2 queen beds and a queen pull out sofa sleeper. The carpet was dirty but the beds were clean. I pulled out the sleeper for the kids and the springs were gone on the sleeper that holds the mat to the frame and the kids would have fell through the frame and to top it off there were no sheets or blankets in the room for the bed. Also the springs were showing though the mattress. So I called back down to the front desk to inform the manager and he was very rude. If you pay for a room and that room is not suitable, the hotel should offer to move you and not expect you to just deal with it! He made it seem like a hassle because he didnt have any maintenance or housekeeping there. He finally had me check the room next door to see if the sleeper was better and at least it had the springs attached, still no sheets or blankets. So moved next door. Next morning the breakfast staff were just as rude. I will not stay there ever again!

Gave Away my prepaid room!!
I booked this room and prepaid for a double queen for 3 people. I called that evening to confirm my room and to let the hotel know we would be arriving very late but would be coming. I was assured my room would be waiting. In fact the lady on the phone said that I had already paid for the room so it was mine whether I showed up or not. I arrived at the hotel at 2 am exhausted and ready to go to bed only to find out my double was no longer available and that they had changed me to a king with a sofa bed. I was furious but at that hour I had little choice but to agree and go to bed. So basically I paid over $130 to sleep on someone's couch. The sofa bed was thin and lumpy and squeaked everytime I moved. Oh and it wasn't even made up for me, I had to make the "bed" before I could go to sleep. Needless to say, I would never stay there again. It is ridiculous to reserve and prepay for a room if the hotel doesn't care and gives away my room. Oh and I almost forgot, he did offer to give me a dirty room to sleep in instead, so either he was going to make someone else get up at 2 am and move ornhe was going to give me an old room that someone had already checked out of at 2 am. I was too exhausted to argue and just went to bed.

Service Dogs
We had been traveling for 2 weeks,this was our last night at a hotel, before arriving home. Ebony the manager was new, she told me that service dogs go to the second floor." All animals, including gold fish, go there." when I questioned the disability of a family member. Plus my 87 year old mother in law was with us.... She charged us $30.00 for the service dog, but day manger Ricky gave us a credit. Ebony fixed the TV in our room, but freaked out, when she saw our 15 pound dogs. We put them in the bathroom, not a dog person. Hotel was full of kids for soccer games. Nice and clean.

The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Unfortunately the suite we were given had quite a bit of mold in the bathroom that we smelled immediately upon entering. I am severely allergic to mold and didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in the room. When my husband went to ask if we could have a different room they were helpful and switched us to two different rooms that sis not seem to have any mold. The rest of the stay was good and we were pleased with the breakfast and service. Just be careful and maybe check your room if mold is an issue for you.
