    Poor 2.0
Worst hotel I have ever visited
I still haven’t recovered from my stay at this nightmare hotel. Walking into the lobby area it’s very bright and clean but the hallways leading to the rooms are very dark can barely see a thing. Our room was a disgrace the dirt everywhere omg the shame on allegroitalia hotel for allowing guests stay in such disgust, there was thick dust everywhere on the tables, cups, tv, floors I could go on. The sofa for our son was a bed of springs and had thick dust on the sides, the bedding had big brown stains, the toilet stank of urine, the taps have never been cleaned. Now for worst part I had life bugs on my bed during the night and by our last night there we had bites all over our legs and my sons neck. The fridge was dirty and had a dead ant inside. My husband went down to the pool and couldn’t get in as it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for a while . If you want to enjoy your time in Pisa find somewhere else to stay!

Charged me twice and won’t issue refund
I stayed on 7 July for 1 night which was booked through Hotels.com. When I checked in the they said I had not paid so I paid again.   When I checked my account I saw I had been charged twice. I spoke to Eleonora who admitted liability but said she was unable to process a bank refund. She offered me cash but it was the last day of my trip so I would have had to take Euro’s home and spend the time converting this into pounds.   She also only offered my 97 Euros, which wouldn’t have covered what I paid, including a foreign transaction fee. I would have expected at least 120 Euros to cover this and as a token of good will given the extra hassle and effort. I would not expect this from a 5* hotel.   Aside from this, there was a disco at with very loud music until 1am. When we asked about this the staff shrugged their shoulders and said there wasn’t anything they could do about this. This is completely unacceptable for a 5*She said this happens all the time.   We called at 12pm as we had an early flight but the music did not stop and it sounded like staff were then moving furniture around until the early hours. We had a terrible sleep. It’s been a month since our stay and I’ve sent countless emails and made a lot of calls. The hotel have said they will make the refund, even sending me a copy of he invoice, but they still haven’t sent me the money. hotels.com have agreed to give me a refund, but after weeks of hassle I would expect a refund a refund for the stay.

An Ok stay - poor breakfast!
We stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon. And having read some of the reviews we were nervous about what to expect! On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a room with a view of the tower which was a nice suprise. The room itself was very clean and tidy, there was a slight problem with the drain in the shower when we first went to use it but to be fair this was dealt will fairly quickly and we had no further issues. The only down side to the room was the Air conditioning the lowest setting was 16degrees but even set to this the room was still a sweat box. Pool and outside were well kept and in a nice condition. We did not eat at the restaurant for dinner so cannot comment on evening food, the bar is very expensive, there is a small mini supermarket outside of the walls of Pisa which is only a 15min walk from the hotel where drinks and snacks are a considerable amount cheaper. My main dissapointment is the breakfast we only had it on out last morning due to leaving early as we had only paid for a room obviously we had to pay for breakfast separately which was £15 per person. I thought this pretty steep to begin with but after eating it I was even more disappointed. Nothing appeared like it was fresh, eggs were cold, the cold meat and cheese selection was really poor, no fresh fruit, for what is on the door step we felt pretty ripped off by the breakfast to be honest. Would stay here again no problem but eating/drinking out it recommended.
