An Ok stay - poor breakfast!
We stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon. And having read some of the reviews we were nervous about what to expect! On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a room with a view of the tower which was a nice suprise. The room itself was very clean and tidy, there was a slight problem with the drain in the shower when we first went to use it but to be fair this was dealt will fairly quickly and we had no further issues. The only down side to the room was the Air conditioning the lowest setting was 16degrees but even set to this the room was still a sweat box. Pool and outside were well kept and in a nice condition. We did not eat at the restaurant for dinner so cannot comment on evening food, the bar is very expensive, there is a small mini supermarket outside of the walls of Pisa which is only a 15min walk from the hotel where drinks and snacks are a considerable amount cheaper. My main dissapointment is the breakfast we only had it on out last morning due to leaving early as we had only paid for a room obviously we had to pay for breakfast separately which was £15 per person. I thought this pretty steep to begin with but after eating it I was even more disappointed. Nothing appeared like it was fresh, eggs were cold, the cold meat and cheese selection was really poor, no fresh fruit, for what is on the door step we felt pretty ripped off by the breakfast to be honest. Would stay here again no problem but eating/drinking out it recommended.

Great if you like a view of an empty pool
We were sold this hotel on the fact it had a pool, shame the pool wasn't open until a week after our stay was over. This was not mentioned anywhere on, or the price comparison site we used prior to booking. Would've been helpful, as we wouldn't have booked this hotel otherwise.

Inaccurate description, out of the way location
Only chose this hotel because your website said it had a Swimming pool, which was not open when I arrived. very dissapointing as location wasn't great and it was overpriced for what it was. Really ruined my last few days. Wish your searches were more accurate! Maybe work on more updated API's? WIFI was intermittent and demanded that I logon again every hour or so. Impossible for any business traveller

    Hardly a 1 star hotel
Absolutely awful!! We were placed in a room below the gum which had loud music on all night and we were unable to sleep. After we complained they moved us to a different too.. there was a massive influx of Chinese tourists which ment that their kitchen staff and restaurant staff couldn't cope with replenishing breakfast or coffee. Breakfast was appalling so little to choose from!! Don't bother paying for it as pisa has lots of lovely little restaurants which aren't overpriced on offer where you will be served and fed much better than at hotel!! The pool was empty which I found outrageous as that was the selling point for us!! No discount offered for this fact either. We both loved pisa but would see. Not stay at this hotel ever again

This hotel is certainly not up to the star rating that it receives on this website, for my opinion it would struggle to reach 2 star status... The room was dirty even immediately after the cleaners had been in (walking bare foot around the room resulted in filthy feet in seconds, the shower had hair in clumps left in the corner and even glasses left in the room for guest use needed a thorough scrub before we could use them) The shower was more of a flood risk than anything else, the plug had clearly never been cleaned from the day the shower was installed as it was congealed and disgusting, couple this with the fact that there is no lip on the shower door meant if you showered for more than 30 seconds your feet were almost submerged and water was flowing out into the bathroom over the floor. You effectively had to finish you rapid shower and then stand there shivering for 5 minutes while the water drained until you could open the door without flooding the bathroom. The heating/aircon in the room was a joke, it was impossible to change the temperature and twice we had to go down to reception to get it reset and on the third time we gave up and just slept with the door open as it was so hot (in March so would be unbearable in summer) The hotel reception staff were very nice and helpful, the restaurant and bar very unfriendly and unhelpful And for location it is at least half an hour walk to main attractions in Pisa along dual carriageway roads which are very dangerous
