DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL
This hotel is certainly not up to the star rating that it receives on this website, for my opinion it would struggle to reach 2 star status... The room was dirty even immediately after the cleaners had been in (walking bare foot around the room resulted in filthy feet in seconds, the shower had hair in clumps left in the corner and even glasses left in the room for guest use needed a thorough scrub before we could use them) The shower was more of a flood risk than anything else, the plug had clearly never been cleaned from the day the shower was installed as it was congealed and disgusting, couple this with the fact that there is no lip on the shower door meant if you showered for more than 30 seconds your feet were almost submerged and water was flowing out into the bathroom over the floor. You effectively had to finish you rapid shower and then stand there shivering for 5 minutes while the water drained until you could open the door without flooding the bathroom. The heating/aircon in the room was a joke, it was impossible to change the temperature and twice we had to go down to reception to get it reset and on the third time we gave up and just slept with the door open as it was so hot (in March so would be unbearable in summer) The hotel reception staff were very nice and helpful, the restaurant and bar very unfriendly and unhelpful And for location it is at least half an hour walk to main attractions in Pisa along dual carriageway roads which are very dangerous

    Horrible!
We really didn’t like the service answer cleanlisness of this 5star hotel. I will take this further as it is definitely shouldn’t be a 5 star hotel.

Disappointing - not kept up to scratch
This feels like a hotel that has been well designed but the upkeep just hasn't been up to scratch. We disappointed to find the pool was out of action and looked like it had been for some time, which was part of the reason we booked it as we were travelling with a toddler. Also we had added our one year old on the booking but when we requested a cot for her we were initially told it would cost an additional €20 a night; fortunately when we queried it the next day another staff member told us that wasn't correct. The room was nice and we booked an apartment to allow a bit extra room with having a little one. The use of a kitchenette was appealing but there was no cutlery or crockery provided despite the room having a job and kettle. There wasn't even tea and coffee or cups even though there was a kettle provided. Also the restaurant which isn't owned by the hotel, although being very smart and offering a number of options for breakfast, served cold bacon and eggs (the only cooked options) and cold serve your own coffee.

OK one night stay.Breakfast below average.
The hotel location was in nice but isolated area 20 mins walk from leaning tower under long railway tunnel/bridge. The staff at the hotel were very unhelpful and need to be taught how to be polite to people. The restaurant for breakfast was no better with food and coffee not replenished while some staff standing around talking. The limited hot food was cold and greasy. one morning there was no coffee and when I asked for some I was greeted with rudeness and waited 10 mins for some to arrive. The maid was very nice and cleaned our rooms very good daily. This hotel does not provide 5 star service and I would never return again.
