The location was great for walking, biking, etc. All rooms had a lovely balcony - ours faced south so we had beautiful views and sunshine most of the day. The room was large and clean and the bathroom was nicely appointed. On the not so positive side, the bed had a feather topper on it which was like sleeping on cotton balls. They took it off for us after one sleepless night. The dresser and bedside tables were badly water stained but in operating condition. The service in the restaurant was excellent but the food was so so. One hot breakfast was served almost cold and dinner was just OK. Overall I would return but i would not dine there.
We had a great stay at Waring House. The staff were courteous, helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our dinner in the Barley Room. Our breakfast was delicious. A 5-star stay.
Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. Dining room was very good.
TV was 25 years, old and did not work see conditions TV was even worse no discount given very disappointed
We were there for the festival of classic music and wine and art tours
