Lively Hotel.
What a find needed to be this way early Sunday morning so decided to travel and stay overnight on Saturday just off the M3. Can't fault this hotel would highly recommend this hotel in Hook and the Indian across the road is very good to.

One night stay
Overall good value for money. Comfortable bed great quality pillows. Good location. The only downside was the cooked breakfast which arrived cold having been served on a freezing cold plate. Hash brown barely cooked not crispy or browned.

Ask where your room is for a better night's sleep.
The hotel was clean enough but despite the hotel reception being made aware that we had our 2 year old staying with us and I was pregnant so would be going to bed early, failed to warn us that our room was directly above the pub. A band played all evening and late returning guests made for a really disruptive night for us. We opened our window to get some fresh air at night which resulted in our room smelling of smoke from the early hours. When we raised this at the desk the next morning there wasn't really any acknowledgment and certainly no apology. A tired hotel that needs some tlc and a bit more consideration for its guests.

Basic but good for a short overnight work stay
This is an older, more basic hotel so good for just an overnight stay but the bathroom wasn't 100% clean, the bin had some rubbish in from previous occupants and the WiFi was woeful - gave up trying to work in the end. On the plus side, the staff were lovely and the parking and local services were excellent - right next to the station (but no noise) and several places to eat/drink.

Lovely stay at friendly hotel
Two night stay that we could have extended, if other commitments did not mean we needed to be at home. The only downside was the chairs in the room, not very comfortable for people with back injuries as we have. Breakfast was fantastic, keeped you fill until teatime. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel is a minutes walk from train station, giving access to other towns and cities.
