One night in Fareham
One night stay over, nice location and good staff, the room was very tired.

Ok
A simple town hotel with bar and restaurant within easy reach of other pubs and restaurants. Amble parking at the rear and a comfortable bed. No air con in rooms though so if its too hot, you have to pen windows but, like me, if you were at the front of the hotel, there will be street noise

Old, tired and dirty
We booked for 2 nights with a dog. I was promised ‘dog rooms’ are just as clean. £120 per night is not cheap. The room was awful, the bath rusty, the sink cracked and chipped, the Lino on floor torn and filthy. The bedroom smelled ‘doggy’ and the carpet again dirty. I asked to be moved and quite honestly the second offer was no better. To add insult to injury ‘dog friendly’ only means the bedroom. Dog can’t go in lounge, bar or general areas, literally we were trapped, not even able to have a drink. We were offered breakfast in the foyer. Never again!
