Our stay was fine, the rooms are a little tired. Breakfast wasn’t the best and the hotel would find life easier fir themselves and guests if they offered a buffet

Family Visit Review of The Cock Hotel Reviewed yesterday Booked an overnight stay at The Cock Hotel in Stony Stratford. Easy check in, stayed in room 29. The room overlooked the car park, which was quite busy as there was a function on. The bed was solid and comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities in room. Nice bathroom. We ate in the restaurant, our waitress for the evening was Jade, she was very friendly and helpful. We could see she was very busy but our meals were delivered with a very lovely smile. Would recommend this hotel for an overnight stay. If the breakfast had been hot we would have given it 10 out of 10. Full breakfast consisted on a sausage, 2 rashers of bacon, beans, mushrooms, hash brown, 1/2 tomato. A great big thank you to Jade in the restaurant, what a star you are.

Room shabby , was raining , no heating when we arrived it was cold and univiting, disappointed expected heaps better for this hotel, we were in old part of hotel stairs and corridors in awful state, but downstairs much better like two different places. Breafast and staff through out good

This was disappointing. I had two rooms booked and checked in at 4. Room 1 was not as requirement and Duty manager assured us the this would be resolved in the next hour and by the time we return to the hotel it will be sorted. We came back at 6 and room was not made. Once again we were assured the this will be done. We returned to the room at 1am and it was still not ready. It took us 35 minutes to find someone as there appeared to be no one on duty. Finally the Chef found the Duty manager. We were allocated different rooms and Duty manager assured us that cost of one room will be refunded. So far not seen any refund.
