Abbiamo soggiornato due notti. La struttura è piacevole e ben tenuta, anche se piuttosto datata, con arredi anni ’80 e moquette. Le note positive sono la pulizia impeccabile delle camere, le ragazze della reception sempre gentili e lo shuttle per la spiaggia, davvero efficiente. Purtroppo, però, il livello dei servizi non è quello di un vero hotel 5 stelle. La piscina era spesso sporca, piena di rametti e aghi di pino, e i lettini sono troppo pochi rispetto agli ospiti. Inoltre non esiste un vero servizio ai lettini: bisogna andare personalmente al bar per ordinare e spesso riportarsi tutto da soli. Il servizio pranzo in piscina inizia solo alle 12:30. Anche la colazione è deludente: poca scelta, buffet poco curato e prodotti non riforniti. Il primo giorno avevamo ordinato avocado toast e uova, ma il nostro ordine è stato completamente dimenticato. Siamo arrivati alle 10:20 (la colazione termina alle 10:30) e molti prodotti, compresi i cereali per i bambini, erano già finiti. Infine, il personale del ristorante della piscina non è sempre all’altezza: una cameriera è stata piuttosto scortese sia quando ho chiesto informazioni sul servizio sia quando ho semplicemente ordinato un caffè. Nel complesso è un buon hotel, ma oggi non offre un’esperienza che giustifichi la classificazione di 5 stelle.

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold i Punta Ala! Hotellet var helt nydelig og betjeningen var veldig behjelpelige og hyggelige. Maten på hotellets restaurant var også helt strålende. Vi besøkte hotellet i lavsesong som var perfekt for en avslappende og rolig ferie, men en del kafeer og restauranter i området var stengt. Vi spiste en middag i nabobyen Castiglione della Pescaia som er bare 15-20 minutter unna. Der var det litt mer liv og røre, så man kan få både og selv om man reiser i lavsesong! Vil absolutt anbefale en tur hit!
