    Almost perfect
Shame about the road works. Noisy through both nights. Reception staff a bit miserable for such a wonderful place - sorry Silvia.

Lovely hotel on edge of Springdale
This delightful hotel is on the edge of Springdale, a town that has developed as a tourist destination for visitors to Zion NP. It is opposite the shuttle bus terminus, so in-season you could avoid the busy car-parks and use free public transport. Our room was spacious, well appointed and comfortable, having a king bed, 32 inch HD TV with Dish receiver, good sized fridge and coffee maker. .The balcony afforded spectacular views of the surrounding mountains - what a great sight to wake up to. We used the in-house restaurant for breakfast once, but found it a bit pricey for the amount served. We had dinner at the Brew Pub close to the park entrance - much better value and seriously good local beers. Gas prices are high here, so plan accordingly.

Majestic view lives up to its name. Very clean and comfortable with an incredible mountain view. (Though I'm not sure where you would have a bad view around Zion). This hotel is one of the furthest from the park entrance, but also furthest from the crowds, and still very close (it's a small town). The only negative thing I have to say is that the attached steak house is worth skipping. Plenty of better food in town.
