Location was fantastic, food was excellent, the staff were amazing but our room felt cramped. We couldnt open the bathroom door fully as it couldnt get passed the end of the bed.

Perfect Scottish hospitality in amazing setting
Perfect location, excellent friendly staff, delicious food. Amazing views and 3 of its own highland cows. I was looking for a relaxing, comfy hotel with Scottish tradition and a warm open fire. Loch Melfort Hotel delivered on all of these.

The noise was awful last night in hotel. Doors banging and people banging about in their rooms. Bed base was ripped and not nice to look at. Other than that everything was ok . The views where breathtaking .

Lovely hotel
Enjoyed another lovely stay at Loch Melfort, the room was very pleasant with great views of the Loch. Unfortunately the weather was not great so could not sit out on the terrace and absorb the stunning views. The bedroom and bathroom were both a very good size and well fitted out. We ate in the Bistro both nights and the food was very good I thoroughly enjoyed both starters and main courses in particular the very hearty Cullen Skink on the second night. My partner is vegetarian and her only complaint is that there was only one vegetarian choice for the main course so she had to order a starter as a main but this was achieved without fuss. Breakfast choice was good but I would like to see rolls and/or bread available to have with the continental breakfast. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
