Great hotel. A real gem hidden in the Kolkata city. We were really happy with the hotel staff, services and the food. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was served with excellent choices. The rooms were very well maintained and great room service.

My birthday happened to fall during the time I was staying at the Swissotel Kolkata. I hadn't mentioned this to anyone at the hotel. However, the staff were so attentive in every way that they must have taken note of my birthday on my passport when we checked in and had a cake delivered to my room. It was very thoughtful and unexpected and serves as just one example of how closely the staff pays attention to detail.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff and the service they provided was excellent. Our room house keeper was so helpful and kept our room spotless. Sometimes when we came to our room at night we found swans or snakes made out of towels - A lovely surprise.
A great little boutique hotel. Family run to a very high standard. Very friendly and smilely. It makes us fee welcomed and gives you a clean room but as everything commensurates with the price. I would say it is on the fair side. All amenities work as they should but we were unhappy about the speed on in house wi-fi which the ower says it was raining.
The staff is helpful and looks professional.

The extra bed is a bit wobble but not dangerous.
The pool looks dirty with dust floating in it, I assume not many people used it.
The Wi-Fi speed feels similar to Airtel's edge, with more stability.
When we came back to the hotel at night, the building was beautifully decorated with blue Christmas light.
This is a very good local hotel - not a big international chain. That is reflected in the cost and the room is excellent value for money. It has a safe, fridge and additional freebies like biscuits. Food and drink are very reasonable and the breakfast is good.

Very welcoming, easy to find, perfect location from airport, restaurant is reasonable price and tasty, room was very comfortable, staff were helpful, and breakfast was lovely. An easy way to settle in Kolkata quickly.
