Cheap and cheerful
A unique hostel. Informed by receptionist of the building originally being police accommodation. The dorm has more a Victorian bording school feel and the guests mirrored that of a refugee holding camp somewhat! That said, bedding and wash facilities more than adequate, a self catering kitchen, a good social area with bar and pool table and a general pleasant atmosphere with seemingly nice people. Also a good basic breakfast within the cost.

Happy Hostel
Very well managed hostel. Clean, friendly staff, bar and canteen area. Biggest bonus on site parking. Cheap and cheerful hostel, left with good feelings.

Outside noise a problem
Overall I like the place and I have stopped here on several occasions but this was probably my worst stay due to noise outside keeping me awake all night. I think more should be done to prevent people standing talking loudly until 4 or 5am in the morning as windows have to be open to allow people to breath! . It is clean and tidy and I would still recommend it but not as good as usual, also breakfast wasn't ready when I went down either.
