Since when are you supposed to tip desk clerk
All was exceptionally good until we checked out. The lady on reception asked if we wanted to leave a tip. We said we had already tipped the maid. Her response was oh you only tipped the maid. We then advised her that we of course also tipped everybody that served us in the restaurant and bar area. She was not a happy camper because we did not pull out our wallet to tip her, she is a desk clerk and did nothing because we were checked in by a gentleman. Not only that it was insulting to us and made us feel we were being cheap. Since when is one supposed to tip every Tom, Dick and Harry in a Hotel.

The hotel Irma is absolutely the best value in Zehua/Ixtapa. To stay anywhere else is foolish.

Hotel Irma
For a wellness hotel the beds are horribly hard.... sleep very poorly do to conditions of beds. The air conditioners should not bed hitting you in your face while u sleep. Other than that the hotel has beautiful views, great service and wonderful food and loved room service

A 2.5 star place with a 5 star view. Excellent area for restaurants, beach, walking in to town. Safe at night everywhere. Spa was excellent, massages /pedicures. nice pools & very clean. Would be better if a kitchenette was available or fridge, but otherwise who wants to wash dishes or cook?

Paradise in Mexico
Great hotel, walking distance to the main city or about 40 Pesos ($2.00 us) taxi ride if you dont want to walk the hill, staff was great, beds though were hard as plywood, i like a firm bed but that was too tough even for me, nice pool, great view of the whole bay, another thing about Zihuatanejo is it is very inexpensive there, wonderful dinner for 3 with drinks less than $50
