My Mexico Vacation
We really enjoyed two nights at Irma. However, the bed was really hard and uncomfortable.

Great Hotel, staff, location
My 15 year old daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Irma from March 13-20, 2016. The Hotel is quaint and all the staff were exceptionally friendly. Our room was clean and we had an awesome ocean view. We had a choice when booking the hotel to include breakfast which we did. No regrets. Every morning we had a wonderful, delicious breakfast for really good value. The front desk was helpful with requests and we hired Jamie on his day off to take us in his taxi to “La Chole” a pre-Hispanic archeological ruin. Jamie was excellent at giving us the history and touring us around the site. Jamie’s tour was 4 hours of information on the local area and history, which cost 1000 pesos. We felt this was good value, and Jamie was very pleasant to be with. The downside to the hotel is that there is the beginning of a new development right next door so during the day the jackhammers are non-stop which was unfortunate but not the hotels fault. The restaurant Las Adelitas was our favorite local restaurant within a 5 minute walk. We also took a trip to Playa Las Gatas via ferry from the Zihua town center dock. It was 40 pesos and you retain your receipt for the return. All in all the Hotel Irma was a definite perfect fit for us and would recommend it. Not the Hotels fault but construction is underway next door for a new development so there was the noise of jack hammers to content with during the day.

I ❤️ Irma
Hotel Irma is very comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. The entire hotel is well cared for and very clean. Onsite yoga is available for a very reasonable fee. It is possible to access the beach from the hotel's lower level, with a shower available to rinse the sand off one's feet. The restaurant has a nice selection of food for all meals. The pool area is very well maintained. The pool is cleaned daily and I observed the deck chairs being wiped down every morning. My only complaint is wi if is not reliable in the rooms, but because of that, I did have some interesting conversations in the lobby. It is not all bad to disconnect for awhile either.

Do not go here
The service in the restaurant is deplorable. Free coffee in the morning was always late and taken away early leaving a ten minute window to get a terrible cup of coffee. One morning they served instant decaf. The room was small with no place to put your suitcase, no dresser to put your clothes, we had to use the floor. We got water the first two days only, even though we left a generous tip every day. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and will not return
