Very clean and tidy throughout the hotel. We would have liked to have known that the Spa and Sauna was not included as I couldnt find any information about that before hand. Good stay overall, shame they didnt have space for late check though.

Rooms were clean, but the corridors not as much. Beautiful view of the lake and loved the welcoming of our dog to your hotel. The personnel was really nice and helpful especially during the check in. The lady was great and super helpful.

The two reception staff were lovely, and did everything in their power to make it nice for us. But the room felt tired and smelled bad. They were massively understaffed due to booking Christmas parties for multiple companies, which meant that the main eatery was closed for service to regular guests. Regular guests felt like an after thought and were hugely outnumbered by the rowdy company Christmas parties. We had to watch drunk people shout and stumble around into walls on what should have been a relaxing spa getaway. Sinks in the bathrooms were filled with sick and mirrors smashed. We even had thefts of our items from our personal balcony. On top of this, the hotel refuse to compensate for any of the poor experience.

This is a great ski and adventure hotel. It’s clean, big rooms, quiet despite its its size and gorgeous setting next to åre lake. Even the basic rooms are bigger than your average hotel in rest of Europe. I have been coming to this hotel with my 2 daughters ( now 13 and 15) for skiing and it is always a good option. It’s not ski in& ski out, lifts are either a 10 mins walk or ski buss right outside. Perfect for us tjough

Great gateway in a beautiful place

Big complex with a lot of commodities. I read previous comments and was afraid that I will not enjoy the place. I booked an entire week to have a vacation with my mom. However, we had everything we needed and were not bothered by slightly aged curtains and other not important stuff. Location is perfect to go to the city and for various hikes, breakfast is good and stuff is friendly. The view from our room was amazing although it was facing the parking lot. We used the pool area a couple of times and were also satisfied even though some parts were not working. Overall, I would recommend the place and will come back again.

Poor parking

Parking at the hotel area and Åre town is sh.. not good. This is just what happens when all the might is handed over to one private company. Aimo Park in this case. Hotel customers who have allready paid their visit must pay for parking. If car is moved 100m to other parking spot on a different area agian a new fee must be paid to same company. If car is parked 1m off a spot (thats under snow) there will be a fine waiting for you. Probably will choose othet hotel next time for above mentioned reasons.
