Perfect Base for Bath & Surrounding Area
Stayed for 2 nights - Friday and Saturday. Fabulous location on the river with wonderful toll bridge and water wheel looking out from the restaurant. Bed was very comfortable, shower hot and full flowing. Breakfast was good full English with usual options and quality produce. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. £5 to park all weekend was not a problem and we didn't have a problem in the limited car park despite other reviews. We didn't really move the car as the bus is 3 minute walk and 20 mins straight into centre of Bath at £2 a head. Far cheaper than parking in the city (£10+ for 6 hours). Lots of lovely walks and good pubs nearby if you want a mix of city and countryside which is what we went for. Taxi back from city was under £10. Great base and well recommended.

January weekend break
Lovely location. We stayed in a superior room overlooking the gardens and river. Room was a little cramped but lovely big bed and very comfy. Breakfast was nice but could have been hotter!.Staff very good. It would be lovely place to stay in the summer months, when you could appreciate the garden and balcony overlooking the river.

Room carpet was not clean. Several marks here and there. I stayed in double bedroom but still room and toilet were too small. Overall service was good and helpful staff. Breakfast was average with limited options as they serve English breakfast only. Hotel location on canal is beautiful and ideal for walking
