The Old Mill Hotel
Weekend away
Lovely Hotel and staff in beautiful surroundings. Could just do with a bit of an update in the rooms, but room and bathroom clean and tidy

Very Good8.0
Our stay at the Old Mill
The view outside the hotel room was beautiful, overlooking the bridge with the river and seeing the sunset was amazing. Myself and my husband went for a morning stroll before breakfast and everyone is very friendly. Arriving at the hotel, the customer service was good overall; the receptionist was helpful and any questions we had about the area they were able to help us. The room was clean, towels and the toiletries were left on the bed for us and the tea/coffee satchets were left on the dressing table too, all stocked up. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, a lovely range of continetal and your full English. The only downside was the bed was not comfortable at all, the mattress was low and I could feel the spring on my back, the only good thing was the pillows as they were soft. However, for one night it was sufficient and our needs were met. Parking was good, a space was available and the area itself is secluded and you are able to have a peaceful sleep with no disturbance.

Wouldn't book again
Boiling hot rooms. Not enough parking spaces. Very uncomfortable beds. Basic ok breakfast.

Quaint location
Chose hotel as was right next to my son's work experience office. Quiet and safe area with a nice walk around the river/toll bridge. Choice of hotel and pub across the road for food. Ideal location to get boat or bus to the city centre! Room was spacious with all usual facilities.

Pretty basic room for the money
Stayed in the annex - room faced dustbins and the car park - it all looked a bit shabby Tbh - I know you don't get much for your money in Bath, but a pretty basic room for the money - very small and claustrophobic - noisy with cars coming and going - Cat meowing out loud all night. The buffet breakfast was nice and the view is stunning across the Avon river weir. Apart from 'would you like tea or coffee' not a single hello or greeting or how was your stay from any member of staff at any point including checking out. Despite the lovely view during breakfast I would not stay there again. There are better and more appreciative and accommodating places in Bath to stay than the The Old Mill Hotel.
