Hotel Mortagne

My room was big what it was good but the beds were terrible and the bathroom so dark that I couldn’t see. The staff was rude.

The hotel is spacious, has all the amendities, and has been recently renovated. Good value.

Always a pleasure to stay there for a night. The rooms are clean, the hotel is well maintained. Hotel staff is also very friendly and very useful. The pool and spa are pretty cool. The tiles in the spa next to the pool could probably use some more cleanup.

Great place to stay! Good food, friendly and helpful staff. Service is a bit slow in the restaurant but it’s actually way faster if you order room service for breakfast. Bed was good, but don’t bother with the sofa bed—the mattress is poor quality. That is pretty typical of pull-out beds across all hotels though, so not something to hold against this hotel in particular. Very nice exercise room. We had a great stay.

It was generally very nice even if some towels were missing at our arrival. Also, we didn't know for how long there was water in the coffee machine. So we didn't use it. We enjoyed the pool and spa.

This was a second time that we stayed with Mortagne. This time it was disappointing. We had several inconveniences that normally should not happen at this kind of Hotels. We booked a double queen bed room for 5 nights. the first night, We tried to turn off the lights on top of the bed fixtures, we could not find a switch. We called reception,they sent a service guy and he used a chair to get to the top of the fixture to turn it off. Not convenient for guests and had no idea that we have to climb. The safe usually open for the guests to be used, was locked. I asked reception to have it open so that we could use it. It wasn't taken care of until the second day. The coffee machine had two mugs and a tray that came with two glasses.I used one mug and a glass the first night. After room was cleaned, they removed the use cups and left one mug and one glass. It's stays like that the next day also, I had to mentioned it to reception, then they brought 4 glasses for water and still one mug for coffee. Bath robes was same story, we had two and used them for the pool, when they cleaned the room, they put only one back. The shower down by the sauna, was dirty: hair all over the tiles. This is unacceptable for a hotel with this standards.

Courteous and professional staff. Clean, large rooms and comfortable beds.

I have been staying at this hotel many times the last few months and this time around the floor was very noisy late at night due to people. Next time I think I will ask for a room away from the elevator

Overall visit was good. Only wish that there was tea in the rooms as well as coffee.

Clean. Understaffed at front desk. 25 minutes to check in with only one person at the front desk. No hot water in the shower.
