Clean and functional
Room and en-suite were clean (if a bit tired) and the bed was comfortable. Our double room (room 4) was small and the shower was cosy, but the shower was hot and powerful, the TV was a good size so no complaints. Staff were very helpful. Car parking available.

Prime Spot
The Hotel was in a prime spot on the Promenade and with parking ++ The room was fine, a bit dark due to the adjacent building. We didn't have breakfast so I cannot comment but at £5.00 for a full English you couldn't fault it.

Was in the room near the front door, which was very noisy, due to the door slamming during the day and the night

Great value for money, good English breakfast with friendly staff. Decor was a bit tired.

Great location, very friendly hotel
On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly lady which is always a good start, our room was large and airy at the front of the property overlooking the promenade. I had thought I'd booked the four poster room but wasn't disappointed with the room we had, the bed was large with fresh crisp linen and a lovely view. Although we didn't need a kitchen facility we were fascinated by the kitchenette cupboard (we thought it was a wardrobe at first) it's perfect if you're staying for a few days. My only criticism is that the bed was a bit too firm for my liking but I suffer with arthritis and find a lot of beds in hotels don't meet my needs, however, I slept I was just a little sore in the morning - oh and the remote is a bit hit and miss (I think some of the buttons were bust). We didn't stay for breakfast but it certainly smelt good as we were checking out. Will definitely stay again and have already recommended this hotel to our friends.
