Very unhappy at being allocated a disability room when I asked to be moved I was told there was only a twin room. So asked for it to be turned into a double and they said no. However this has been done when I had a previous issues with this hotel. I checked through hotels.com availability and there was plenty of rooms as an alternative. So when this was discussed at reception I questioned this. After a lot of back n forth and a request the manager due to The officious ness of the trainee receptionist. I was eventually given a suitable room. No better no bigger and thought the whole scenario could have been avoided. Had two further bookings for later this month. Have cancelled one and will probably cancel the other. Not good. Service poor.

Nice hotel in okay location
The hotel is very modern and the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The only concern is the area which is like a ghost town as the main nightlife is a few miles away. Also - the staff at reception didn’t seem to know who was next in the queue to check in. There was no real orderly fashion. Apart from that I liked it but I wouldn’t stay there unless I had a concert in the 3Arena to go to. Denise

A stay at The Point
I was attending a conference at the Aviva Stadium, and was given the name of the hotel by some Swiss friends who were also attending the event. It was not far from the hotel to the stadium. The hotel had the LUAS (Tram) Red line immediately outside the front doors along with a few shops and places to eat. I was in a sixth floor room with a balcony. This was good I thought, however at this point in time there is a huge amount of construction work taking place around the hotel. The hotel is also directly opposite the 3 Arena at The Point and during the stay, Elton John was performing - so quite busy with people. The hotel breakfast service was acceptable, if a little slow at times. The staff are all quite young and pleasant as well as professional. The coffee was good. The wifi was strong and beds where comfortable.
