A quick 2 nights visit to the Big Apple
This hotel is fairly average in terms of overall quality, but boasts larger-than-average rooms for New York City. The noise level on Canal St, where the hotel is located, can be unpleasant, but the trendy neighborhood of Soho is just across the street and a block away. Conveniently, there are three subway stations with access to over six different subway lines, all within a three-minute walk from the hotel. While the hotel itself is not particularly luxurious and is showing its age, the prices are reasonable. The beds were pretty comfortable. but with the large table n the room - there wasn't a lot of space for suitcases. We stayed on the 21st floor, which is the club level. The club-lounge area is nice, although a bit small, and unfortunately, the terrace was closed during our stay due to renovations. However, the happy hour provided by the lounge was excellent, and the breakfast was decent to good (especially when compared to other options in NYC). Club level guests can also enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, sodas, water, and even potato chips and other snacks in the lounge 24 hrs a day.
