Good 6.0
Good but with a few improvements could be great.
Lovely welcome and easy check-in process. Clean room and en-suite, bed very springy. Wide variety of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a biscuit in the room. Fantastic shower, warm and powerful. Toiletries supplied and lovely towels. Disturbed a lot overnight by neighbouring guests, shouting in the corridor at 5am and then clapping loudly half an hour later. Unfortunately this rather ruined my stay. Breakfast very busy, waitresses clearly rushed off their feet and struggling to clean tables between guests. Very tasty breakfast but plate freezing cold which meant the food got cold very quickly. Nobody in reception so I just had to leave the key as I needed to get going. Great amount of parking.

Terrible Stay - Avoid
Small room size; bathroom, especially shower cubicle is super small; very poor quality of mattress / bed. No air-conditioning, lots of noise from traffic when the window is open. The only good thing about this hotel is ample parking and location which is walkable to the High Street, Exeter Cathedral and the Quay.

Great little Hotel
Great little hotel . I have stayed 3 times now on all occasions for 1 night. I have used as a stop over when taking my son back to university. Nice warm welcome on arrival ... clean room with everything I need for my stay. Shops & takeaways within walking distance Great breakfast . The hotel is near a busy road but staying in rooms at the back you don’t really hear it ! Really great value for money

Pleasant stay in family bedroom for 4
The hotel is conveniently located to be able to walk into town via the quays and a pedestrian bridge. The hotel is well decorated clean and the fittings are new. The breakfast was excellent and the service was very very good. The bathroom was superb. Clean towels were provided each day. There was no air con and no telephone in the room. My only complaint were the Venetian blinds on the windows were not blackout and the early sunrise of summer affected my sleep. The beds were good and the bedding was clean.
