Once of the best stays while on vacation in Sri Lanka. Clean rooms, conveniently located and friendly staff. The food was amazing as well. They took good care of us from day one. I left my iPods in my room and didn’t even realize it until they called me after we checked out and left to let me know. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Thank you Stay Ceylon!

The staff were lovely and the room was clean and had all of the amenities that were expected! But unfortunately we decided to have a meal in the hotel restaurant on our first night - halfway through our starter I noticed two rats running along the alcove above the window. We decided to finish our meal in the room, which was accommodated - and a free dessert was offered as a means of apology. This is just a warning to anyone who doesn’t like rats (like myself!)

Our stay was overall very pleasant. The hotel employees were welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout our visit, which made us feel genuinely well taken care of. The room itself was beautifully designed, clean, and well maintained, contributing to a comfortable and visually appealing stay. However, one hugh drawback was the lack of soundproofing. Unfortunately, noise traveled very easily—everything from conversations in nearby rooms to the sound of cutlery being used downstairs was clearly audible. This made it difficult to fully relax and affected the overall comfort, especially during rest hours. With improved sound insulation, this hotel would offer an excellent experience, as the service and aesthetics are otherwise outstanding.

The property is not on the beach so dont get fooled by beach bar. This is on a highway. One has to cross the road to go to the public beach. Very very noisy property. Cant have food or sleep in peace. Not recommended .
