I could be fine with being charged extra for bedsheet and pillowcase. The lack of charging ports(2) in the room is disgustingly dissatisfying.how am I charge my devices against the rest of 10 people? I find it shocking that a hostel doesn’t provide or sell padlock, tho they kindly have a safety locker for guests, charging by hours. There is no communal area for work or casually meeting people.

Clean room, poor breakfast
Room was clean , toilet was nice. Top bunk was the noisiest ever. Breakfast was a rip off , better off eating out for a cooked breakfast.

Pleasantly surprised!
We had kept a very low expectation after reading other reviews. However we were pleasantly surprised with how clean and comfortable the room was. Bunk beds which were good for a night's stopover in Edinburgh. The approach to the rooms were a bit complicated and through the bar. Otherwise overall had a good time!

Fist time hostel.
My daughter and I have never stayed in a hostel, and we were pleasantly surprised. The afternoon reception staff, who were on on the Friday 23rd, had a bad attitude towards us on checking in but Adam and a young girl in the morning were great and bent over backwards to help us. Thank you
