My family and I had a wonderful stay . We enjoyed the apartment and the location. Angela was very nice and very attentive. She made sure we felt welcomed and give all the details we needed to know during our stay in Florence. I will definitely stay here again.

This apartment was perfect for my daughters and me. The bedroom is huge and has ample closet and drawer space. The living room/kitchen were perfect. The bathrooms /kitchen were spotless and had everything we needed. The location was incredible- right next to the Medici Chapel - with a view of the Duomo out of the window. We could walk to everything in Florence. The wash machine was great to have as we needed to wash our clothes after a week on vacation. The building was safe and secure with security code at the main entrance to the building as well as the apartment. The best part was Angela! She was amazing- and shared her wealth of knowledge with us about Florence when she walked us through at check in. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Angela was wonderful. It was my daughter‘s birthday and she made her feel so special. Even brought her a present! The suite was perfect. (We stayed in suite 10) It has 3 levels. 2 full bathrooms Great for family with children or would work well for couples traveling together. Location was perfect, walking distance to everything. Be sure to contact Angela in advance. She will make everything smooth and she has a wealth of knowledge about the area. She gave us great trips on dinner, shopping, etc.. I have never written a review before, so I’m trying to think of what people would want to know. I typically like to try new places or stay in different places when going back to an area I have already been in an attempt to make it different. But I would have to stay, if I’m coming back to Florence I would probably rebook the same room.

Right on best food market in Italy

This is an older building in a great location. While the apartments are very roomy, it is just minutes walk to the main square with all the tours and other tourist activities in the center of the old town. Very nice rooms, very clean and very good service. Five stars! Anti odor and deodorization treatment in the building entrance and stairs areas would be plus.

What an amazing location! This unit is a block from the Central Market (amazing), the street in front is THE leather market, the Forno bakery is 5 doors down, 15 min walk to all of the major tourist sighs and the train station. The unit is exactly as pictured...exactly. It was clean, orderly, well stocked for 4 people in the kitchen, etc. Note that the images show an open floorplan, it is open meaning there is no sound barrier between the bedroom loft and the 2 sleeper sofas on the entry level. The host Angela was very helpful. She provided an overview of the city and sights upon arrival/check-in and helped me sort out a couple of logistics challenges along the way. The only downgrade from 5 star review topics was the facility (meaning the building). The elevator was quite slow but in good condition and worked...so taking the steps was just easier. There was an unpleasant odor coming up from the basement that permeated the first flight of steps, but then was gone. Would most definitely stay again and recommend this unit!

The place was spacious and clean, and our hostess Angela was informative and helpful. However, we visited mid April and even though the weather was nice outside, inside the apartment was very warm - no AC allowed during that time of the year; so we opened the windows and two things happened : mosquitoes ate me alive and it was very loud -since the apartment is situated right in the center- I used white noise and that helped

The kitchen was fully equipped. Lots of shops, nearby, mainly the famous leather market. Lots of restaurants nearby. Angelo was very helpful in this history lesson as we were checking in of the surrounding buildings. The room was very clean, had all the amenities you would expect and then some.

Pro: location is great. Walking distance to a lot of attractions. Lots of food, restaurant, and shopping close by. Con: two big cons. 1. No air conditioning. The staff told me they needed city approval to turn on a/c for the whole building. I don't know if that is the truth since I am not local. However, I stayed in a Rome apartment before this and a Venice apartment after this. The Rome appt initially did not have a/c either. But after I asked, the staff turned it on for me the next day. In Venice, I didn't even need to ask and there was a/c when we arrived. I checked the chic stay website and a/c was listed as an amenity! 2. The apartment is AT a market and next to a square in front of the medici chapel. The area is very noisy. We cannot open the windows because of the noise at night. Even when all windows are closed, we can still hear muffled noises. Around 6am in the morning, the street vendors start pulling their carts to the street to prepare to open. We can hear heavy wheels rolling on the cobble stones very clearly. One night at 2am, a group of people screamed and yelled in the square for almost half an hour. So, without a/c and cannot open window at night because of noise are a big minus. I will look for another apartment next time when I come to Florence.
