The Ibn Battuta does not disappoint. It is just as breathtaking as I remember, the staff is unparalleled, from the person who greets you at the revolving door to the person maintaining your room. We met people from a number of different countries in Asia , the Middle East, Africa as well as Europe working at the hotel. It is such a lovely space for both body and mind, your soul will thank you!The first thing you will notice is the lovely scent of sandalwood that permeates the spacious lobby. So soothing...I can't say enough good things about this special place. The only thing I did not like was leaving! Looking forward to my next stay!

I like the proximity to the shopping mall which is across from the hotel. The hotel is located away from downtown Dubai and the Marina where most of the tourist activities are located. I have to pay more for taxis for my transportation.

A lovely stay at the Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel. It was in a fantastic location about 5 mins from the Metro and bus station and there was a Carrefour Supermarket within easy reach just inside the Ibn Battuta Mall. The hotel itself was lovely and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. We self-catered in an apartment so cannot comment on the restaurant, bar or other facilities. We did however visit the pool area most days which was lovely. We relaxed there every night for an hour or so after a hard days sight-seeing. Our apartment, whilst a little tired in terms of decoration and fittings, was very clean and more than adequate for our stay. The house keeping staff were great (especially Uma). They cleaned thoroughly every day and left us packs of small bottles of water for our day trips which was very much appreciated. Any requests made to receptions were dealt with speedily. Would definitely recommend.
