We stayed here for 3 nights on our tour of The USA. The owner David could not have been more helpful during our stay. The breakfasts are delicious and prepared with great care and thought by David himself. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel is set in lovely countryside and a few miles near the lovely town of Plymouth. The located is handy for a visit to the White Mountains and also Lake Winnipesaukee.

Mark and Lyn were somewhat surprised to find we had arrived in Meredith by bus! Not to be recommended. Taxied up to their charming hotel. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, homemade granola, yoghurt and raspberry couli, followed by poached pears and Mark's soda bread. Lyn took us down to the lake for a trip and collected us in the afternoon. They could not have been kinder or more concerned that we enjoyed our stay. We loved it.

This is a lovely old-fashioned, well-maintained, character hotel, which is perfectly situated in the old town, and near the beautiful hiking trails, rivers and lakes. Our room was spacious, with a good comfortable bed, air conditioning, a modernised bathroom, and it was spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely, really helpful, and the breakfast was freshly cooked. It's not luxurious, but it's really great value, and I would choose it any time.
