Very good hotel.
This hotel has its own subway exit! I paid £59 per night for a semi-double. The room was large and quiet. Included breakfast had everything. Excellent. Only downside would be that Kinshicho is a bit far from central Tokyo. Ie Shibuya is 30 mins. Mind you there is a fast train to Tokyo every half hour on the Jr blue line that takes 9mins.

Perfect escape in a good location
Lovely room with spectacular views of the city. Soundproofing was spot on. Despite the location above a train station I really had to strain hard to hear anything. I could hear the elevator dings and the very occasional loud guest but it was very peaceful. I really enjoyed watching the sun rise over Tokyo from my room on the 14th floor. The staff were all friendly and helpful whenever I interacted with them. Breakfast was delicious but odd - as well as the expected traditional rice and fish, there was also spaghetti, curry, fried chicken, ice cream... Never left hungry though! Fridge didn't seem to work in my room, it was like a Thermos basically. I think they did something to it on the last day I was there as it rapidly cooled down. Unfortunately my Japanese is too poor to advise them it wasn't working. There was a dry air warning at the time I was there, however my room was helpfully equipped with both very good heating, air con, and a humidifier. The coffee machine was nice to have, even if I couldn't quite work out how to use it. Location of hotel is brilliant for connections. Very easy journey to Shinjuku, Nakano, Akihabara, and Shibuya. Narita and Haneda are both easy journeys - one stop on the Hanzomon line, then change for the Express. The 7-11 downstairs was conveniently placed and always open. They accept chip n pin in their ATM, which is very helpful when you overspend at the pokemon centre a 20 minute stroll away!

Great hotel overall
The reception is on the 4th floor of the tall building - they were all very helpful and very efficient. The room was quite spacious for a Tokyo hotel, and the little chocolates were such a lovely touch. Very clean, and it had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Close to restaurants, trains, and shopping
Get a twin room for 2 people vs a double room. It is more functional.
