Seraphine Kensington Olympia Hotel
Ok for the money
Stayed a couple of times, rooms are small, the breakfast area is too small for the amount of guests and you have to carry your cases upstairs as the lift doesn't take you to a single flat level for most of the rooms. On the plus side the staff are friendly and helpful and the price is good for the location.

Cheap hitel
We booked a deluxe room however when we arrived there was a very noisy motor droning in the wall behind the bed. The receptionist was very helpful and moved us to a quieter room however it was much smaller and not well equipped. The hotel is very much in need of decoration and updating, it is very ‘tired’ looking. The breakfast was good. Overall, considering the price we paid, we were happy with our stay but not a hotel with any outstanding features.

Very Good8.0
Room is tiny but the location was excellent and reasonably priced. Service was very good. Early check in was facilatated which made life easier for us.

The smallest room I’ve ever stayed in!
The hotel was generally fine but was certainly odd. Both in terms of how you enter from the street (I got lost and ended up accidentally taking the side entrance and stumbling into a very small and cold accessible lift - only to find out there’s another door on Kensington high street!) and in terms of internal layout - it was a complete maze! It appeared clean and well kept throughout and the decor was certainly distinctive. My biggest niggle was the size of my room... I only needed one nights stay, for one person and got what I thought was a great deal on I now realise why... it was tiny. A single bed that reached almost all four sides of the room! I felt like I was back at university, only studying for interior decorating! While it served the purpose fine (and was ideal from a location point of view), I can’t pretend it’s what I expected when I booked a 4 star hotel. On checkout, when asked about my stay, I mentioned about how small the room was. The lady was lovely (certainly more friendly than the two who checked me in, who were more interested in each other than me) and told me I should have said something the day before as they had rooms free and would have moved me. I don’t know if I was annoyed or not at that. One of those things I guess. Breakfast was fine, but not exceptional. It was just nice to grab a coffee and croissant before I headed off. I was pleased it was included. All in all, it was fine. It met my needs, if not my expectations

Extremely noisy possibly the worst nights sleep I’ve ever had.
