OK Room - Breakfast was poor
Decent hotel. Rooms a little small as is usual for Japan. didn't enjoy the breakfast buffet. Was expensive and as we were a little late (9.00 am - breakfast closes at 09.30) the food was lukewarm.

What a SQUEEZE !!!
Front office staff good, helpful. Housekeeping sucks!!! Although we opted for APA ECO ACTION where we dont change our bed linen. We tght they would at least make the bed. This was not done. Not sure if they vacuum the floor? A used cup was left unwashed. I have stayed in hotel in other places that dont cost so much and we do our part for GAIA where we dont change bed linens. At least the house keeping was good, bed was made up, cups washed, vacuum done. So in this regard, APA Higobashi Ekimae FAILED BIGTIME. Room was a tight squeeze!!! Could hardly manouvre. And u wonder why they bother to give a 50" TV.

Osaka vacation was fun
We chose APA Hotel Osaka-Higobashi-Ekimae because of the location and the free hot spa included in the stay. LOVED it. 5 Stars. We used the hot spa 3 times daily. It was clean and extremely useful after long days of walking. Perfect location as our travels were concerned. The subway is connected to the hotel (exit 3). There was a LIFE grocery store close to the hotel and it was cheap to buy and bring back to the hotel. Restaurants and pubs nearby were great.
