Room was really clean and spacious. Child's bed was not substantial at all. Hot weather meant room was very hot as no A/C. Only 1 small fan available which wasn't effective for a large room. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Spa was small but ok. Pool unavailable due to 'high levels' on last day of 2 nights. Didn't have breakfast there but menu looked ok. We had dinner on one of the nights and staff were great. Food arrive in good time. Quality was ok.

We had a really lovely time in the Spa and pool prior to our check in. Our room was great with a view over the golf course. We had a few drinks in the bar and a several games of pool. We extended our checkout to 12 noon, which cost an extra £20 which was expensive, but worth it to us. Overall a really great stay and we would go back for sure.

The hotel was very busy with golfers and check in although polite was very slow. The room was totally adequate and had a nice view of the golf course. You had to walk through the bar/dining area to access the Spa which was quite loud. We ate dinner which was very good excellent steak for the price. Breakfast was self service and at 9:15 quite a few items were missing i.e. butter, marmalade and the fried eggs were very hard and rubbery more supervision and care would be good.

We had a lovely relaxing stay and had plenty of time to enjoy the nice pool. The bed was large and very comfortable so slept well. We didn’t eat at the restaurant as it wasn’t overly tempting for a vegetarian. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

I had the best welcome at a hotel in a while. Super lovely receptionist, very friendly and helpful. For the price this hotel is fine. Just lacks a bit of cleaning, the gym was filthy with no air conditioning (I didn’t bother with the pool area based on this!!) The stairs haven’t seen a hoover for a very long time! The room was large and clean enough though. Very quiet and I slept well. I would stay here again and recommend for a cheap business night or weekend. Breakfast was great and the waiter was lovely.

Lovely quiet location. Didn’t have breakfast but the dinner night before was lovely. Clean large room. Lovely shower. The only reason I wouldn’t give it top marks is because it had 2 of my pet peeves .. Firstly no plug socket next to bed .. and secondly i hate fixed shower gel bottles when its difficult to dispense! Other than those minor annoyances, it was a great stay.

We wanted a nice relaxing and chilled weekend. The hotel, room except for the shower and hairdryer, food and the staff were awesome. However we couldn’t use the pool as it was freezing cold. The pool was one of the reasons we picked this hotel.

Was very isolated golf hotel I liked it lovely rain shower you definitely need a car to get around to Dartmouth and other places nearby my tip is ask for your room to be cleaned every day as you have to request this at check in but that aside I would stay there again
