A great stay
A great location for the sunset, to see the bridge and for a bit of relaxation but a long way from any other bars/ restaurants. We ate in the restaurant two nights and the food was good although very limited vegetarian options. The breakfast buffet was a highlight for us, such a variety of stuff and all tasted great. The pool was very relaxing although could have done with a few more sunbeds. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they were more than happy to organise taxis, trips etc although the hotel prices were very expensive in comparison to the street prices. The room was lovely, had everything we needed and good AC and storage for luggage.

This is a great hotel... one of the best we’ve ever stayed in! Everything about it was fabulous: the location, the views of the river Kwai and the bridge, the friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you, the rooms, the pool, the sunsets, etc., etc. We were very sorry to leave and highly recommend it.

Location spot on.
Location Location Location, top marks for this, had a lovely view onto the river, downsides are small rooms, small pool, weak cocktails, plus points you get a full 24 hours with your booking. So check in at 7pm and get a full day the next day if you need it. We didn’t eat there as there was a wedding going on and didn’t like to pry into the lovely day. Overall a great stay x

idyllic
This is a lovely hotel on the banks of the river and within easy walking distance of the River Kwai railway station. We opted for a deluxe room and weren't disappointed. The room was large and very well provisioned with a tea/coffee/snack counter and stools making it seem more like an apartment than a room. The breakfast was excellent with a wide a selection of choices. We particularly liked the complimentary use of hotel bicycles and used them to visit the Cemetery at Kanchanaburi (use the back road rather than the main roads).
