8/10 Very good

We love the location of this motel. Close to the beach and the shops and restaurants. The room is spacious and the bed comfortable. Shower has good pressure and bathroom a good size. There’s a fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster in the room too. However the location is close to the busy road also so can be noisy. The motel does need attention as it is tired looking and dated. The reception person was very helpful and gave us plenty of information. Parking is on site. Theres also a pool. The advertised bbq area is apparently not usable. We have stayed here a few times and will happily return as it suits our needs.

10/10 Exceptional

A very comfortable size room for a family. Great bathroom. Great pressure in shower. Laundry was a bonus. Bed super comfortable and clean. Soooo much room. With a bit of paint and a small reno, it would be 10/10. But I will definitely be staying here again and would recommend.

6/10 Good

We chose this place on a recommendation from a friend. Firstly, you have to visit the pub around the corner to collect your room key as they have bought the property. They shared directions to parking and location of the room. Our room did not look anything like the above picture. In fact, room 20 is so unique that it has a back door and a front door. The place is a bit tired and on inspecting the cupboards, I found a dress hanging up from a previous resident which makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the property. Make sure that you take your own soap as none is provided. Water pressure was good and warm. It was convenient to the main street and a block away from the beach. Good for one night but not much else.
