I was scammed
I didn’t enjoy my stay even if it was just for a night to sleep because it was uncomfortable. The room was warm and cannot adjust the thermostat inside, I don’t like the shared bathroom with a toilet seat that needed to be changed, the carpet needed more vacuuming, the room was tiny. It was not worth the money I paid which was close to $180 for a night in a hostel. I’m very disappointed with Hotels.com which i booked the place with because I didn’t expect to be given a hostel for that rate. It would have been better for me to stay in even just a 2-star hotel to get the comfort of staying in a room with your own bathroom, good air conditioning, clean bed linens for the same rate. I will never again book my future hotel stay through hotels.com

amazing hostel
A simple and amazing hostel. The Rooms and in room toilets were good and clean. The breakfast was simple but good and nice. Just for people who are new to hostel, the room will have 6 people (3 bunk beds)+1 bath + 1 toilet and locker facility (locks by our self). the place also has laundry facility, a dining area with some free cereals and some times free food left. For solo travel this is a best option with opportunity to connect with other fellow travelers. For people doing Chicago marathon this is a very close place to starting line.

Excellent, practical and comfy.
It was great and practical. I booked a private room because I was nervous being solo. The room was clean and it was just perfect to get there and sleep. The staff was friendly and they answered my dumb questions. Also, they made valuable suggestions to make me feel safe traveling the city. Last, the hotel is in a very crowded area, therefore is close to several CTA stops and you can listen to the metro line going around. I personally didn´t mind it, I slept nice and comfortable. I do no think is a major issue for me nor it hindered my stay. Last, the residents were respectful and I didn´t encounter any nosy neighbors nor problematic guest. I would totally stay there if I return to chicago.
