Mixed fortunes!
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean but, like the rest of the hotel very dated, rather dark, dingy and tired looking. The bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in and the heating was full on in spite of beautiful sunny weather! Breakfast was adequate, marmalade rather than marmite, honey or strawberry jam would have been appreciated. On the plus side prices were competitive for a bank holiday weekend and the hotel’s position near the sea, conference centre and town centre was excellent.

Not recommended
I have booked for 3 days to stay, but when I arrived they have charged me £12 for car park for each day that they never mentioned it. The breakfast is not free actually have to pay £12 per person but it is not nice, warm and delicious, whatever is run out you should let them know so nobody was there to check trays that are empty. The person who was standing by the door, she was chasing you by eyes and making you feel uncomfortable to enjoy your breakfast. In total not worth to spend your money on this place.

Dont stay if you want to sleep
In 17 years this is the first time i managed zero sleep i stay in hotels for work all over the uk ..and this is by far the worst .firstly to get to the room you have to go diwn a slope instead of stairs that only evel knevel would manage .there is no hand rail and basically you have to run down it because the gradient is so high .then beside the room there was family toys inc childrens electric cars hence now the ramp .they were in the room beside mine and it was obviously staff give them their due they did quieten down at 9pm but before that were quite noisy.then outside the bedroom window the noise from either the kitchen air duct or air conditioner sounded like a fairground petrol generator wentbon all night clanking and whiring so i spent all night binge watching tv ...nothingbis all bad and the breakfast was definitely good value for £7 and made things slightly better ..the hotel room was pleasant and so was the hotel itself just stay clear of room 199

Our stay in Bournemouth.
This Hotel is in a great location. Parking is extra, but that seems to be the same for a lot of Bournemouth hotels. The room was very large and was ideal for out needs. It could do with a freshening up in decor. Our bed was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is in an ideal location for the beach, pier and shopping.
