Not a good experience
Unfortunately, this hotel is not for me. The front door of the hotel had no curb appeal, the large rubber carpet was looking filthy with gravel littering the ground, I wondered what kind of place I was getting into. Then, just like several of the reviewers, I got injured in the bedroom on the black-on-black painted steps and floor, I twisted my foot so badly that I was in pain for days afterwards. This kind of injury lingers for days, even weeks. Recovery is a slow process. I am surprised that, although several reviewers have mentioned that they fell on the steps, proof that it's a recurring accident, management is not taking any steps to stop this from happening. They brush it off by saying: just let us know next time and we’ll put you in another room. So people will keep falling and hurting themselves. The problem is that there is a shag carpet at the bottom of the stairs making the floor look higher than it really is, and this is why people miss the last step, fall down and hurt themselves. The least staff could do is inform people about the steps, I was not told anything. The good points are the central location, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I will not be back as it is not a good memory for me.

I was supposed to get a suite, but I got a regular room with an old squeezing floor. In the booking, they mentioned a suite. Did they check me first ia wrong room where somebody still occupying it ? The included breakfast in the rate is a box delivered to the room that includes a regular croissant and chocolate croissant. This hotel should not be advertised and offered by Expedia, they fool people with their false advirtesment. I mentioned to the person who checked me in that I am going to write a review about the hotel that it will not be good, he replied to me do it and he did not seems to care about that. This is the worst hotel that I booked via Expedia.

this place was a great find for a last minute booking. greeted with excellent staff and the room was huge. The only issue was the stairs in the room. Made it a little dangerous for nighttime bathroom visits and we ended up NOT getting our free breakfast even after asking due to room confusion. not a big deal.
