Just the Job
This B&B is pretty much perfect for me. Great cost/ comfort ratio. All I need from a place for a short stay. Friendly landlady, even friendlier Labrador who is uncomenly well behaved. Smart dining room come sitting room is pleasant . Breakfast is fine, lots of choice. No lift, so make them aware if you struggle with stairs. We liked it.

Good Location, Worth for the Money
Located at the Hoe, about 5 mins walk to Smeaton's Tower lighthouse. A charming lady running the business and she is also preparing the breakfast for guests. I had a few nice chats with her about history of the city, life in Plymouth, etc. It is worth for the money you would spend. No WiFi for rooms, but it does not bother me as I was out most of the day time. No elevators, like to see improvement in cleanliness.

Can improve
Recent stay at the Ashgrove Hotel was a bit disappointing and dated. The room was much smaller than expected and the shower didn't have a lot of room. The bed was also very uncomfortable.
