Great dissapointment, sorely underwelmed !
Back off TV remote control Missing, Bulb in Bathroom mirror lights not working, No shaver point noted for husband and my elec Tbrush, No bathrobes in deluxe room, Breakfast and service good, but reception Cold and unwelcoming, will Not return
A really pleasant surprise - great sized rooms and well maintained grounds. It’s a wedding venue but with clean and spacious rooms I’d stay again.

A little disappointed
Stayed in a 'deluxe double' in the Manor House. Didn't start well as reception was not obvious - the 'reception' sign was behind us in the one way car park. All facilities clean but tired. A blind in the room window was broken, crooked and fixed at my chin level (I'm 5ft 3) so didn't go up or down. It just blocked the view of the garden when stood at the balcony window. They should just remove it. Our window was about 300 metres from the M5. So close I could read the logos on passing trucks and quite loud. Might be better when the leaves are back on the trees. Shame because the garden was pretty, even in winter rain, but the M5 was distracting. Bathroom clean but there was chunk missing from the doorframe and the mirror and towel rail were very rusty. Towel rail was very hot so the small bathroom became a hot spot. Bed springs pinged loudly at the slightest movement. Breakfast was nice but I got wet on the way there as it's in a different building and the walkway is only part sheltered. Spa facilities also tired. Holes in robes and marks on furnishings. Got in an outdoor hot-tub, couldn't work the jets, asked staff for help to be told the jets don't work. If they know the jets don't work they should either get them fixed, cover the tub or put up a sign. Indoor spa water temperature was tepid. Overall, a little disappointed. I paid £75 (same price as Premiere Inn with breakfast) so value for money wasn't bad but I had higher expectations. Staff were very helpful.

Room was expensive especially when the shower did not work properly, not able to use the facilities the next day which would have been a good end to the weekend

Didn't like the shower - blast of cold water. Would be good to advise how to use to avoid this.
