Value for Money!!
I stayed here for one night in July. I had read a few reviews stating the rooms were small and lack of windows. Which is a fair point....but is Barcelona a place where you confine yourself to your room?! I paid around £56 for one night, and was extremely happy with the return and I would 100% stay here again! The location was excellent, right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter, 5 mins from Ramblas and 10mins from Plaça Catalunya. There aren't any eating/drinking facilities on site but there is so many restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk it's hard to fault it!

Not a great experience!! Poor!
The hotel was under going a refurbishment (which we didn't know about) when we turned up so was pretty messy. The room was tiny and had a window just big enough for my fist! The beds were really hardback to top it off, the air conditioning wasn't working (in 30 degree heat!!) so we had to keep a fan on high all throughout the night!! Not a great stay at all, good location but there are many others nearby which looked far superior, hugely over priced and would not recommend or stay there again!

Hotel El Call
Hotel is basic but very convenient location. Due to where it is though no windows in most rooms and as no dining area of communal facilities as a lone traveller I felt a little isolated.

Excellent reception staff. Tired looking hotel and very hard bed. Wouldn't stay there again.
