average quality, big rooms.
I am not sure if this is reflecting the hotel overall but on arrival we had no toilet paper. The big mirror in the bathroom was missing, you could see the bare wall; no cutlery in the kitchen, no plates or cups. A.c. unit worked only in the other room, it did it for us. Breakfast eggs - whichever way you wanted them, toast, butter, jam, fruit plate, yoghurt and corn flakes, coffee. Staff very polite and helpful. Rooms with windows at the back into a gym with really loud music from 6:15AM. Unless you pay for a 4-5 star hotel, street noise is a problem in all Colombian hotels

Good room, nice neighborhood.
Nice hotel in the La Floresta/La Americana neighborhood in Medellin. Working class neighborhood near the soccer stadium. The room was fine, service was good. Well priced. There are a few bars and places to eat right outside the hotel, which was nice. You will have to taxi to most other social places in the city, about 10-15 minute drive to the more affluent areas.

Convenient and Nice Hotel
Delightful hotel located in a nice neighborhood only 2 blocks from the Floresta metro station. Large room size with a small kitchenette. The room had air conditioning, TV, and WiFi. Check-in was easy and I was offered coffee or tea. The breakfast was standard each morning with coffee, fruit, eggs, and bread. There are many places to eat in the area and an easy metro ride to downtown. Very nice experience at a good price.

Beware of this hotel!
I was first shown to a lesser room and had to ask for the junior suite that I booked. The wifi was incredibly slow or cutting out all the time. The closet that the safe was located in had a broken door. Even though there is a kitchen in the suite, no crockery or any utensils are provided so the kitchen is total useless to any traveller who wants to use it. But best of all and something I have never experienced anywhere in the world, I was charged more than the cost paid to hotels.com for the stay at the hotel upon checkout for people who visited me in my hotel room. Not for anybody sleeping over, simply for visits by friends to my room. This was totally rediculous and I won't recommend anybody staying at this hotel for this reason. It's a money making scam!!!
