Brilliant stay with an ‘Italian Star’ in the bar!
The Double Tree at Tower Hill on the whole is excellent, friendly approachable staff who care about the service they supply and often smiles that don’t look forced. The bar staff particularly were outstanding, the young tattooed Italian lady who worked behind the bar on Saturday 24th March 2018 needs a very special mention. The pride in her work, customer service and delivery is a credit to your organisation. We think she has a desire to work again in the revamped Sky lounge and having worked for over 20 years in customer environment I would not hesitate to highly recommend her. Polite, full of energy and always willing to go the extra mile in service, she made our stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. We hope that senior management gets the opportunity to read this feedback and makes the effort to pass on our thanks? The only moan (and it is small) was the noise of the air con unit in the room (216), which appeared a little excessive but this really was a minor point. Breakfast was very good, fresh food and very well prepared and again the staff only too willing to help and provide a class service. Well done DT another excellent stay and slightly shorter weekend trip. We will definitely be back once you have the sky lounge back in action in August. Thank you....

Very uncomfortable, 2 bad Hiltons in 1 month!!!!
On arrival I went to park in the hotel parking, when I pressed the intercom I was told to check in first where there’s no parking which is stupid, why would you check in then park? The bed was so uncomfortable it was unreal myself and my partner had no sleep on the first night, I asked if there was different beds which I was replied with no but we will put a topper on it. On returning back to the hotel the second evening there was a topper on it which I think was a quilt so there was no difference at all. The alarm had also been set for 07:00 in the morning so as you can guess we wasn’t impressed after having a late one the night before, obviously I annoyed someone in asking for a topper!! The skybar was also closed so overall it was a bad stay.
