I liked the overall stay at the hotel. I liked the breakfast that came with my room, along with the water and coffee/tea. I like the amenities (pool, sauna). I liked that it was in walking distances to restaurants (which a lot was Asian, as I think I was in an Asian area, but had other options too). Some of the tourist spot were walkable (Palais Royal, Galeries Lafayette because of the Christmas season, Place Vendome, etc). Also not too far by uber or taxi for train stations to travel to other countries, from Eiffel Tower, Pantheon, and Arc de Triomphe. Definitely would recommend this place to others.

First stay in Paris so my ability to compare to other choices is limited. Overall a very good experience. Rooms are very nice...but small. Staff was very, very accommodating and friendly. We found it easy to walk to sites like the Louvre, Notre Dame, shopping. But I would not describe it as being in the middle of the action. Restaurants immediately in the area were mostly Japanese and Indian. We wanted Parisian/French food so we usually walked a bit further to find Parisian coffee shops and restaurants. Overall a four. A five would require larger rooms and a location a bit closer to Parisian experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lyric hotel. It was conveniently located near a metro station and walkable distance to the Louvre and Seine River. Furthermore, I enjoyed the decor of the hotel, I felt safe while on the property and in the vicinity of the hotel, and everything was very clean. Would stay here again for sure.

Pleasant stay - Could be improved
We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Lyric that could have been better. Our room was clean, and service was friendly. The facility is becoming a bit dated, which can especially be noticed in the bathroom wear and tear. The hotel is very walkable and in a great area for shopping, dining, etc. Very centrally located within Paris. On our second night, we were awoken at 1am by the individual in the next room having a very loud conversation, however the front desk took prompt action and we did not have any issues with thin walls after the fact. On another night, we were woken up twice in one night as a result of the fire alarm going off--the entire hotel had to evacuate twice, and we did not receive any information as to why, nor an apology, nor any compensation as a result (This occurred from 1-2:00am). We were assured there was no fire, and heard from another guest that the alarms went off as a result of the heat triggering the alarms as the night-shift employee was taking a shower mid-shift.

First time visitor to Paris and Micheal recommended restaurants for me to go to. The location is ideal, as you can walk to almost anywhere. Lots of shopping areas in all directions. The rooms were great also, a little weird with the lights not staying on unless the key card was in it. The breakfast was ok but we got there late im sure it would have been better if we arrived earlier. All in all it was perfection. Would stay there again.

The hotel is perfectly located near museums, famous department stores, and it is a short walk to the Hop On bus station and stop. If you like real Japanese food, there are many around the hotel. The staff is amazing. However, the lighting could be improved because clear bulbs, which seem to be the trend in Europe, are used for overhead lighting, as well as over the bed sconces, too. Thankfully, their is one lamp on the table to use instead.
